Can you remember the time when you started becoming aware of your mind creating dreams or fantasizing about things that you think you will enjoy doing, having or becoming? These activities of the mind are stronger and more frequent during puberty or teen years of our lives. It is also the period of our development when we get moodier and this is because our minds are full of imaginary things and cannot settle yet into something that we really want in our lives. This is the stage of development where many teen-agers experience identity crisis of all sorts. There are anxieties about the future and we are easily affected positively or negatively by anything in our environment, by parents, siblings, family relationships as a whole and even with peer groups. Then with these confusing response to environment we tend to go back to our selves by dreaming and creating imaginary situation, locations and even characters that we feel comfortable and happy about.
There is nothing wrong in dreaming for as long as you are in control even in your dreams. Be careful of what you dream of because dreams do come true in ways you never know when and how.
The fact that thoughts are things and everything that is existing started in the mind of the creator should warn us to be aware of the contents of our minds. Are your dreams creative and constructive? or are they vindictive or destructive? Are your thoughts full of vengeful imaginations and anger? Do you notice that the contents of your mind affect your feelings? For example if you are angry with somebody who insulted you and you cannot keep your mind still when it seems to repeat the words that made you feel insulted then this thoughts will block you from creating beautiful dreams because you will be overcome with the feelings of anger. This is what I meant in my previous discussion as blocks to our creative energy.
Dreams do come true so be careful of what you dream of. Dreams come true and they manifest in the right sequence and in perfect timing. Very often as humans we want everything to happen as quickly as we ha thought of it, this may be true in real life as the case may be but in terms of the layout of our lives, we are subject to time elements. We follow sequences and steps in our development. We cannot be adults first before we spend years being teenagers. There may be some overlaps in behaviors and way of thinking depending on the culture and individual gene but just the same, we follow the stages in human development.
With this fact, we are controlled by time and stages of our lives, so are the sequences of our dreams. If you dream to be rich for example, dream first about what you want to become and what you do before you dream to be rich and how rich you want to be. There are three basic sequences of our dreams and they are as follow;
1. Dream on what you want to become; example, to be a doctor, a teacher, a businessman, and whatever it is that you want to become. See yourself in your mind’s eyes how you look and behave when your dream about yourself comes true.
2. Dream on what you are doing as the person you become in the first step. If your dream is to be a doctor, see yourself doing surgery or diagnosing a disease of a patient and that you are clothed in white outfits as doctors do.
3. Dream about riches. In your mind’s eye see yourself as a successful person in whatever you are doing and that your success brings you a lot of money, count them and see what you spend your money for, such as house and lot, cars, travels, whatever.
The bottom-line is that, to organize your dream is to dream according to the sequence of your development and you have to understand that those dreams that come true follow the sequence of our development. Dream wisely.
