This topic now is a continuation to my discussion last week. The reason for this topic to come up is that I received some messages in my messenger asking if there is a specific method to change one’s destiny. The answer is yes and no.
What I am presenting here is a method in general but they are subject to modification in accordance with a person’s total personality structure. There is no exact science to perfectly study a human being and his life. Even Psychology can only study what is observable and measurable in human behaviors. At the onset of Psychology as a science it attempted to define it as a study of the soul but no one can see the soul and therefore it cannot be observed and measured hence it shifted to studying behaviors instead because behavior can be observed and analyzed.
No one knows exactly what the future is for a certain individual but we can predict our own personal future in a general manner by knowing ourselves and our own way of thinking and reacting to any given stimulus in a given time.
Here are some basic guidelines to create your own destiny.
1. Know yourself, what you desire, how you respond and react to various situations in life; know your strength and weaknesses, make a thorough and comprehensive study of your past behaviors in various situations and with various types of people you had encountered. Know what you enjoy doing, know your preferences in terms of your life’s status, is it more on having plenty of money or is it more in popularity. There are a lot of things to study about ourselves. No one else can make a thorough study about you but you, yourself. If you allow other people to study about you there would always be a bias, a prejudice because they will study you according to standards, not you as a unique person. Know what you truly believe in all areas of your life.
2. Dream big for yourself. Dream what you would like yourself to become. Dream what you would like to do. Dream what valuable material things you would like to possess in life, dream how much money you would like to posses in the near or some distant future. Dare to dream.
3. Study and learn how you are going to make your dream come true both in your imagination and in your action. Remember the effort is from within…. Believe because what you believe becomes you.
The preceding are just general suggestions, each person is unique and can create his own destiny according to his conviction. The bottom-line is that you should be aware that you can create your own destiny and that you have the ability and power to do it…trust yourself.
